The practice centres on a modern, well equipped surgery in the centre of Kingsbridge and offers a comprehensive range of treatments ranging from routine footcare (corns, callous, nail care) to biomechanical assessments, provision of orthoses and nail surgery under local analgesia. The aim of the practice is to maintain its position as a primary private practice in the area by continual professional updating of its staff, and audit of its procedures to ensure they are effective.
You are assured of optimum treatment levels and standards of care. All our patients receive a full primary patient assessment and, needless to say, cross infection controls are stringently adhered to.
All Podiatrists at the Kingsbridge Chiropody Practice are HCPC Registered and member of The Royal College of Podiatry which means that they have qualified via a 3 year honours degree course at University and are hence eligible to work in the NHS or in Private Practice.
This also means that we are governed by a professional code of practice laid down by the Royal College of Podiatry. This practice is pleased to uphold these codes.

Home Visiting Service
We are able to offer chiropody treatment in your own home in cases where you are unable to attend the clinic in Kingsbridge. Both Hannah & Pola are our clincians who travel to attend home visits and the service covers the whole of the South Hams.
You are assured of optimum treatment levels and standards of care and as always, all treatments will follow our strict codes of conduct and guidelines as laid down by our professional body, The Royal College of Podiatry, as regards sterility of instruments, record keeping etc.
Once you become one of our Home Visit patients, we ask that you book your next appointment with the chiropodist each time you are visited. This enables us to use this limited time as efficiently as possible.
How to book an appointment
Please telephone 01548 852042 to book an appointment. If we are unable to answer your call personally, please leave your details on the answer machine and we will contact you. If you would like to speak to our receptionist Jackie, it is best to call on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday when your call will be answered personally. All appointments must be booked in advance, and although on occasion appointments may be available on the day, please telephone before calling, in order to check availability. If you need a specific time or day for your appointment, please always book this in advance immediately after your treatment.
Emergency appointments should be made by telephoning the surgery direct, but please contact your local GP if the surgery is not open.
Fees
The fee for a standard chiropody/podiatry treatment is £48.00.
