With the warmer weather on the horizon and the lockdown being eased we are looking forward to brighter days.
Here at Kingsbridge Chiropody and Podiatry we are enjoying our new clinic and reception area. Having two clinic rooms allows us to consider offering different services and we are hoping to unveil some exciting complementary additions to our podiatry practice, including therapeutic foot and leg massages and nail colour sessions. We will keep you posted when these become available. In the meantime, you could register an interest when you visit us and we will contact you as soon as details are available.
Hannah is enjoying her work here and she has built up a caseload of lovely patients, some of whom are new but many who have been attending for some time. She has become very adept at travelling all over the South Hams on her domiciliary visits and has become very familiar with the Devon lanes.
After working with us for many years, Sallie has decided that she is stepping back from Podiatry. This will allow her to move on to new ventures which we wish her and her family well with.
On reception, Jackie and Tracy are keeping the practice on the straight and narrow! They are here Monday to Friday and will answer your calls personally from 10.30 to 4.30pm, to deal with bookings and any enquiries you may have. They will also help you if there are any items which you may require ordering. We have recently set up a small retail area in reception which stocks items which are difficult to source elsewhere and which the podiatrists may recommend during a treatment. These include various emollients such as those which contain urea, the excellent Gehwol foot cream range, long shoe horns and silicone gel products. We are also excited to stock THOUGHT socks, a range of bamboo socks which are long lasting, designed to let your feet breath and relax and are really comfortable to wear. Bamboo has strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties to help keep your feet healthy and hygienic. Some great colours too!
As a treat for your nails we are also stocking a range of nail polish which was developed by Podiatrists in America. They have formulated an enriched nail polish which contains a blend of naturally occurring anti-fungal ingredients as well as nourishing additives not found in traditional nail polish. They have also stripped it of all the nasty ingredients such as formaldehyde and parabens. It can be used on nails with a fungal infection and can be used also in conjunction with topical anti-fungal medications, helping to restore discoloured, weak and brittle nails. We are really pleased to be able to recommend Dr Remedy nail products, all of which have been formulated with your nail health in mind. A flash of colour helps every foot.
